My name is Michael Heraghty. I have been designing websites since 1995. (See my business website, userjourneys.com).
When I first created ChooseIreland, it was a way for me to learn how to design and manage launching a large, structured, site.
I enlisted the help of others:
- Corrine Casey, a top-notch US-based travel writer
- Accomplished web designer Anne Weiland
- Kuwait-based HTML wizard Didats Triadi
- I managed to rope in my wife Lisa and brother Brian too!
I learned about how to create a 400+ page website from scratch.
In the meantime, the site has become a useful resource for visitors to Ireland.
Update February 2013: I have been upgrading the site recently, and things are a little messy, particularly when viewed on mobile devices.
