This courthouse, built in 1746, is one of the oldest and most interesting in all of Ireland. Visitors can attend re-enactments of some of the trials held here, among the most notable, the Napper Tandy Trial and the Lord Leitrim murder trial.
They can also take a tour of the downstairs, which features the building’s original dungeons, and experience what it was actually like to be a prisoner as tour guides assist them through the charging and fingerprinting processes.
